First introduced at New York's Plaza Hotel in 1840, Jockey Club was off to the races, soon becoming the ubiquitous scent from Saratoga to Churchill Downs. Its patrician reputation was affirmed when John F. Kennedy became a dedicated fan more than a century after its launch. Other perfumers have attempted to imitate this iconic scent, but none have succeeded.
The original Jockey Club, first introduced at New York’s Plaza Hotel in 1840, is considered to be America’s first “sport” cologne and a favored scent from Saratoga to Churchill Downs. A breezy, casual fragrance, exceptionally fresh and long-lasting, superbly carrying you through an energetic afternoon riding or sailing. Increasing in popularity with every passing year, future President John F. Kennedy discovered it more than a century after it launched and remained a lifelong fan. We are pleased to present our modern edition, paying homage to the classic original and reimagined by renowned perfumer Pascal Guerin in a spectacular contemporary creation.
