Kim’s Homemade Tips - Natural Sunscreen Oil

Most sunscreens contain ingredients that may be irritating and are definitely not 100% natural. There are natural ingredients that offer natural protection from the sun.  Raspberry seed oil contains an estimated 30-50 SPF.  Carrot seed oil is estimated to have SPF levels of 30. Wheat germ oil is estimated to possess a natural SPF of 20.   If you are looking for something more powerful and effective, try the Sunscreen Balm listed below which uses the natural mineral zinc oxide Included in the recipe are essential oils that also offer natural sunscreen protection.

This is a nice oil to use when you’re going to be in the sun and want natural protection from the sun.  You can find these supplies at well-stocked natural food stores or from my friends at From Nature With Love (http://www.FromNatureWithLove.com).  You can delete any ingredients that are difficult to find, but try to stick with the ingredients that offer the most protection.
